ollowing the agreement brokered between Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) on behalf of musicians and Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON) last week at the Eko Hotel & Suites, stakeholders have begun to hail the development as a step in the right direction.
COSON chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, has described it as huge and historic even as he thanked all stakeholders.
He said: “By the agreement, the entire broadcasting industry across Nigeria undertakes to start immediately to pay for the music which they had for many years used for free.
