The Gov. Jonah Jang faction of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) has sent a letter of condolence to Gov. Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State over the death of his mother-in-law.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Osaro Onaiwu, Administrator of the forum, which was made available to newsmen on Friday in Abuja.
The statement said Jang prayed that God should grant the family of the deceased, Mrs Felicia Adeniyi, the fortitude to bear the loss.
“We pray that Mrs Oluwakemi Mimiko and her family will be comforted for the irreparable loss as they lay `Mama’ to rest.
“Mrs Felicia Adeniyi was a mother to us all and we celebrate her life and accomplishments as we send her on her final journey home,” the statement quoted Jang as saying.
It recalled that the deceased, who died on May 5, was to be buried on May 30 in Oke Aluko, Ondo State.
